After arriving at Delhi / Kolkatta you fly to Guwahati from where you drive to the Kaziranga National Park. You spend a full day at the National Park where you embark on a pre-dawn elephant ride to Kaziranga's Central Range. After breakfast you walk through a terraced tea garden and with locals in Karbi and Misisng. In the evening you proceed on a jeep safari in Kaziranga's Western Range for game viewing.
Driving across Assam on the way to Dibrugarh you have a day's excursion to Majuli Island and en-route visit Sibsagar, the ancient capital of Assam & Ahom rulers. At Dibrugarh you enjoy an hour long river cruise on a country boat on River Brahmaputra, visit ethnic Tai-Phake village and witness an evening extravaganza of local culture, folk dance & music.

After arriving at Delhi / Kolkatta you fly to Dibrugarh from where you cross in to Arunachal Pradesh after an hours' ferry ride across the mighty Brahmaputra River for a night halt at Pasighat, home of the Adi tribe
Whilst you journey through Arunachal Pradesh you get to visit Renging and Yembung Villages (Adi Tribes). You continue drive to Along, home to the Memba and Khemba tribes and visit Bam Village (Adi Galong Tribe). Next your journey takes you to Daporijo, home to the Tagin and Miri tribes. At Ziro you interact with the tribal people visiting Hong Village (Apatani Tribe), Handicrafts Centre and in the evening witness a special cultural programme. Finally you exit from Arunachal Pradesh through Itanagar, capital of Arunachal Pradesh where you meet Nyishi tribes and visit craft emporium
Arriving at Drive to Guwahati (Assam) you visit the famous Kamakhya Temple and then board your flight to Delhi / Kolkatta for your onward destination.

You fly to Dimapur from Kolkatta for your journey to discover the colourful and diverse world of Naga Tribes. The Nagaland odyssey begins with a visit of Kohima where you visit the Kohima War Cemetery, Catholic Cathedral, State Museum & Government Sales Emporium. An excursion takes you to the picturesque village of Khonoma to get a feel of Naga tribal customs and traditions.
From Kohima you drive to the ethnic tourist village of Tuophema and further visit Lotha tribal villages at Wokha and Ao Villages at Chuchuyimlang and Mopungchuket.

This is a tour that combines a journey to Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh with a visit to the Kaziranga National Park – world famous for the one-horned rhinoceros.
In Nagaland you get to experience the effort of the people who instigated the creation of a Tourist Village at Tuophema to develop sustainable tourism in Nagaland. The tourist village was an initiative from within the community, self-funded, designed and built by the different 'Khels' (clans) from within the village.. On the day you travel from Tuophema to Mokokchung you will visit villages of Rengma and Lotha Tribes in Wokha District that falls en-route. Driving out of Mokokchung you visit Chuchuyimlang and Mopungchuket Villages (Ao Tribes).
In Arunachal Pradesh, the tribesmen, more than Arunachal's eerie jungles, its blue-green rivers and wild tangle of mountains make this remote corner of northeast India so amazing and wonderful. Arunachal is home to about two dozen major tribes, each with its own language, culture and attire. You interact with Adi, Memba, Adi Galong, Tagin, Miri and Apatani Tribes.
Finally you visit Kaziranga National Park, known all over the world as the home of one-horned rhinoceros - a world heritage site.

Your tour commence in Assam at Dibrugarh where visit Tai-Phake village, an ethnic village situated near the River Buri-Dihing. The ancestors of this village came from Southeast Asia in the mid 17th century. The village showcases the cultural heritage of the Tai community. In the evening there will be an extravaganza of local culture, folk dance & music.
Further on, from Jorhat you take a boat cruise to Majuli Island. It is the world's largest inhabited riverine island. Majuli is home to the Mishing tribe who migrated from Arunachal. They are Assam's only riverine tribal community & they make some astoundingly beautiful shawls & blankets that are also used as wall hangings. Your journey takes you to Kaziranga National Park, known all over the world as the home of one-horned rhinoceros - a world heritage site.
Thereafter, you enter Arunachal Pradesh to drive up to Tawang where prayer flags flutter in the breeze. Monks in their soft robes slip silently through the market square attending their daily chores. There are 500 of them attached to the great Tawang Monastery on its dramatic perch on the spur, a short distance from the main town.

After arriving at Delhi / Kolkatta you board a flight for Guwahati and drive to Manas National Park, on the border with Bhutan. At the National Park you take an early morning elephant ride through grassland fro game viewing. You also take a walk through a local village, visit the nearby tea gardens and see Bodo tribal hand weaving.
From Manas National Park you will be boarding your cruise vessel at Steamer Ghat from where you embark on a 7 day river cruise up-stream on the mighty Brahmaputra River. During the course of the river cruise you have excursions to Kaziranga National Park, known all over the world as the home of one-horned rhinoceros - a world heritage site, Majuli Island, the world's largest inhabited riverine island. Majuli is home to the Mishing tribe who migrated from Arunachal; visit Sibsagar, the one-time capital of the Kings of Assam, besides enjoying the sheer ambience of the river cruise.
The river cruise ends at Dibrugarh from where you board your flight to Delhi / Kolkatta for your onward destination.
